Privacy policy

SOVA respects your privacy and handles your personal data in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed).
  • Delivery and billing data: addresses and contact numbers.
  • Business data: company name, business type and the company's users.
  • Order data: products, amounts, payment method, and the transfer receipts you upload.
  • Usage data: IP address and the country derived from it, device and browser type, pages visited and the site you came from, and cookies, including a random identifier that recognises repeat visits.

We never see or store your bank card details; they are processed directly by the payment gateway.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil and deliver your order and issue the invoice.
  • To contact you about your order by email, WhatsApp or SMS, and to send verification codes.
  • To apply business prices and manage company accounts.
  • To protect the store and prevent fraud, and to know how many people visit us and from which countries.
  • To improve and measure the website, and to remind you of a cart you left.
  • To meet legal duties, such as keeping invoice records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with:

  • The courier (Bosta): name, address, phone number and the amount to collect, to deliver your order.
  • The payment gateway (Paymob): the order data needed to complete payment.
  • Messaging and email providers: to send order messages and verification codes.
  • Analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and Meta) when enabled: usage data, never passwords or payment data.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for the site to work (sign-in, cart, language) and may use cookies for analytics and advertising. You can control them in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the store from working.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while the account exists, order and invoice records for as long as the law requires, and visit records (IP address, country, pages) for no more than 180 days, after which they are deleted automatically. We delete transfer receipts and abandoned-cart data when they are no longer needed.

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS); passwords and service-provider keys are stored encrypted; access to data is limited to authorised staff.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use for marketing, or withdraw your consent. Contact us at info@sova.fast or on WhatsApp 0120 548 9864; we will reply within the time the law sets.

Changes

We may update this policy and will show the updated date at the top. Continuing to use the store after an update means you accept it.
